Triage first

Emergency WordPress work often goes wrong when somebody starts changing things before understanding the stack. We start with the failure, the environment and the dependencies around it.
The immediate goal is stability. Once the site is safe and working, we can tell you whether anything else genuinely deserves attention.
Assess
Understand symptoms, access, hosting, WordPress health and what changed before the problem appeared.
Stabilise
Contain the issue, restore core functionality and reduce the chance of another change making it worse.
Recommend
Give you a practical next step: stop there, clean up further, or move into a proper Website Refit.
What Rescue is not
A disguised rebuild pitch.
If the site only needs a contained repair, that is the recommendation. If the underlying build is genuinely unsalvageable, we will explain why before proposing something larger.
No manufactured emergencies. No “everything must go” sales script.
A good fit when
Something important is failing now.
The site, checkout, form, update path or another business-critical function needs diagnosis and stabilisation before broader improvement work.
Probably not Rescue when
The site works, but underperforms.
If the real problem is dated design, weak mobile UX, unclear messaging or poor conversion, the Website Refit is the more useful starting point.
